The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain professional experience while contributing to the advancement of tribal initiatives. This program is designed for individuals passionate about public service, Indigenous governance, and community development.
The permit applicant is required to be either the possessory holder of a parcel, agent with development rights and a lease of a parcel, or a Tribal entity with appropriate management oversight on a Tribal parcel. Applicants must demonstrate that they have legal right-of-way access or appropriate easements.
